Md. Jahangir Nobi has an excellent career on HR and OD. He is one of the very few people in Bangladesh who has extensive working experience of 18.5 years in the field of Organizational Development (OD). He has also worked in Human Resource Management (HRM) sector comprising of HR day to day operations, recruitment & selection, HR compliance, performance management system, competency based employee development, compensation & benefit, change management, institutional diagnosis & capacity building and general administrative work in 7 different companies (both Corporate Body and International NGOs).
Currently, Nobi works as Head of Human Resources with DIGICON Group. He has gained a broad range of business experience & extensive knowledge working globally and specifically profitable – non- profitable organization such as Amin Mohammad Group, Bangla Communications Ltd, AMTRAS Limited, MDC Bangladesh Consultants Limited, CARE Bangladesh, Neptune Group & Nibedita Shishu Hospital Ltd.
He is the key person to develop the entire HR system and policies of all those organizations. He has introduced Employee Development initiatives in all those organization. He has deep knowledge on KPI, KRA, PMS, EDP etc. Apart from HR and Admin work, he is also an excellent in house trainer throughout his career.
Beside this, he has trained more than 15,000 officials from NGOs, government & corporate body of Bangladesh on Human Resources Management & Development, Grievance Management for Better Productivity, Effective Goal Driven Performance Management, Management Development Program, Effective Team Approach & Leadership for Pick Performance, Office Etiquette, Effective Communication & Interpersonal Skills, Motivation that Increases the Productivity, Time & Stress Management for Better Efficiency, Training of Trainers (TOT) for Enhance the Facilitation & Presentation Skills, Partnership Practice for Sustainable Development , Office Management and General Administration, Personal Grooming & Hygiene and Media Advocacy to Vibrate the Target Audience.
Nobi is Certified Accomplishe of “Bangladesh Labor Law and Labor Rules- 2015”.
Mr. Nobi has completed Masters in Management from University of Dhaka, and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from Rajshahi University.
He has also completed Masters in HRM from “Bangladesh Institute of Governance & Management (BIGM)” under Social Science Department of University of Dhaka & PGDHRM (Post Graduation Diploma in HRM) from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM). He is the EC and Fellow Member of Bangladesh Society of Human Resource Management (BSHRM) and Fellow Member of Bangladesh Organization for Learning and Development (BOLD). He has also deep knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law. He has a vision to develop Human Resources as Capital for the Country
